Query Languages for Semantic Web Services

چکیده
Even though service discovery is one of the vital steps in Web service invocation, service requests are usually expressed by rather simple means. While syntax-based service descriptions are usually addressed using keyword-based queries, Semantic Web Services are queried using “perfect” service descriptions. Hence, a service requester is not able to control the outcome of the discovery process in-depth by specifying similarity ranges or to explicitly state which syntaxand semantic-based parts of a service description should be addressed. In this paper, we present an analysis of current approaches to service request formulation and identify requirements a query formalism for Semantic Web Services should fulfill. Furthermore, we give a brief preview on SWS2QL, a SPARQL-based query language for Semantic Web Services.

Query Architecture Expansion in Web Using Fuzzy Multi Domain Ontology
Due to the increasing web, there are many challenges to establish a general framework for data mining and retrieving structured data from the Web. Creating an ontology is a step towards solving this problem. The ontology raises the main entity and the concept of any data in data mining. In this paper, we tried to propose a method for applying the "meaning" of the search system, But the problem ...
متن کاملOn Using Semantic Web Query Languages for Semantic Web Services Provisioning
Although there are several approaches to discover Semantic Web Services based on Description Logics reasoning, the use of standard Semantic Web query languages for this task is not so widely spread, partly because service discovery involves some issues that these languages do not usually deal with, such as complex matching, results ranking or interoperability. In this work we analyze the suitab...
متن کاملQuery expansion based on relevance feedback and latent semantic analysis
Web search engines are one of the most popular tools on the Internet which are widely-used by expert and novice users. Constructing an adequate query which represents the best specification of users’ information need to the search engine is an important concern of web users. Query expansion is a way to reduce this concern and increase user satisfaction. In this paper, a new method of query expa...
متن کاملA Linguistic Approach for Semantic Web Service Discovery
This thesis presents a Semantic Web Service Discovery framework for finding semantically annotated Web services by making use of natural language processing techniques. The framework allows searching through a set of annotated Web services in order to find a match with a user query, consisting of keywords and their associated part-of-speech tags. For matching keywords with semantic Web service ...
متن کاملTowards a Multi-calendar Temporal Type System for (Semantic) Web Query Languages
Time is omnipresent on the (Semantic) Web. However, formalism like XML, XML Schema, RDF, OWL and (Semantic) Web query languages have, if any, only very limited notions of temporal data types and temporal theories built-in. Recently, the development of Web Services for temporal operations has begun. In this article, we describe a connection, possibly the first one, between such Web Services and ...
